Art Miami 2025

December 2 - 7 Booth AM215

We hope you can join us at the 35th edition of Art Miami 2025, the city’s original and longest-running modern and contemporary art fair.

The works we have curated for Art Miami reflect the history, landscape and culture of art  for over five decades.

Our focus, as always, is on Fine Art Prints and the artists who have mastered the art of printmaking, from traditional to digital.

Here’s a look at just a few of the highlights that will be on view at the VFA gallery:

Andy Warhol. Map of Eastern USSR Missile Bases (Negative), 1985

Andy Warhol created engaging portraits of celebrities, cats and dogs, beautiful silkscreens of flowers and, at times, works that reflected the sorrow and anxiety produced by horrifying events published in the press each day.

In the 1980s the U.S. was in the midst of the Cold War. Then President Ronald Regan referred to the USSR as ‘The Evil Empire” and called for a 'Strategic Defense Initiative' to 'defend America from Soviet Missiles’.

Warhol’s response was to create Map of Eastern USSR Missile Bases, a black and white silkscreen that reflects the menace and fear of the threat of war.

Warhol’s Flowers, 1970 will also be on view, as well as Mobil, 1985, Electric Chair, 1971.

Andy Warhol’s portrait of French film star Brigitte Bardot sold for $16.7 Million at an invitation-only auction at the Clemente Bar in New York on November 21st.

 Marilyn Minter. Prism, 2009

Marilyn Minter has been pushing boundaries with her artwork for nearly fifty years. She is usually behind the camera, but a current documentary: Pretty Dirty: The Life and Times of Marilyn Minter puts her front and center.

The film features Jane Fonda, Jeff Koons, Padma Lakshmi and other interesting celebrities.

In works like, Prism, Minter continues a career of creating  provocative works.

A.C.K (Alpha Centuri Kid). Heavy Mettle, 2025

Digital artist A.C.K combines storytelling, music and technology. The piano often appears in his multi-dimensional works, like Heavy Mettle. “To me, the piano was my first gateway to the Muse,” he said in a recent interview,  “Just one key could open my mind and imagination to new ideas and themes to explore.”

Also on view will be works by Rashid Johnson, Keith Haring, Gina Choy, Timothy Curtis, Alex Katz, Katherine Bernhardt, Chikai Ohazama, Donald Sultan, Chuck Close, Julian Opie, Ed Ruscha Damien Hirst and Roy Lichtenstein.

Art Miami 2025 begins with a VIP Preview on Tuesday, December 2nd then opens to the public through Sunday, December 7th. The fair is located at One Herald Plaza in the heart of downtown Miami. The Vertu Fine Art Booth is AM215.
