Ryan McGuinness is a contemporary artist born in 1975 in Toms River, New Jersey, USA. He received his BFA from the Massachusetts College of Art in 1998 and later moved to New York City to pursue his career in art.

 

McGuinness is best known for his pop-art style that combines bright colors, bold graphics, and a mix of commercial and fine art aesthetics. His works often feature recurring imagery such as nudes, logos, and symbols that explore the complexities of identity, consumerism, and communication.

 

Throughout his career, McGuinness has exhibited his work in numerous solo and group exhibitions in galleries and museums worldwide, including the Museum of Modern Art, New York, the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, and the Tate Gallery in London.

 

In addition to his visual art, McGuinness is also a published author and has released several books that showcase his art, including "Ryan McGuinness: Works" and "Women: The Blacklight Paintings." He has also collaborated with brands such as Nike, Apple, and Pepsi on various projects.
