Biography

 Debbie Carfagno is an American Visual Artist. She was born in 1957. 

 

Carfagno received her BFA from the School of Visual Arts in New York City. She became a master serigrapher, creating prints for many artists. From 1975 to 1983, she created prints for Andy Warhol.

 

In the 1980s, she founded the Now Voyager Gallery in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, where she exhibited the works of both local and New York artists.

 

Carfagno moved to Miami in 1994, where she, “has been developing her own artistic vision, as well as establishing success as a private dealer, specializing in Bluechip Pop Art.”

 

In addition to oil paintings, Carfagno converts her simple hand drawings into cut aluminum sculptures, which she paints in oil. The results are images that are both painterly and sculptural, abstract and realistic.
